They Should Have Planned


Wild honeybees are seen here at work in their hive, exposed to the weather on a tree branch about 35 feet above the ground in a nearby park. Wild bees usually live where they are protected from the weather, like inside of a hollow tree, where they can survive the winter. This brood will not survive long after the first frost.
