Mayor’s tour
Ed Note: So, Mayor Palmer has all the mayors from across the U.S. in Trenton for the big conference. I wonder if he’s going to take them down to Stuyvesant Avenue, or to Walnut and Chambers, or down Martin Luther King Boulevard, and let them see what Trenton is really about. Oh, no, he’s taking them to a basketball game and a restaurant. He should take off his rose-colored glasses show them the real Trenton because he doesn’t live in Trenton, he lives in his mansion in Hunterdon County.

Cut Hizzoner a break, at least he was trying to show-off our city. Seems most people just want to cut the place down. I wish people would just be proud of this place. We have a great history here, and a lot to be proud of around here. Now let’s pick-up our chins and show a little pride.— Ed. Note

Palmer is the Mayor of Trenton, New Jersey. He should show the National Conference of Mayors, Trenton, New Jersey. not some pretty played idea of what he wants to be representative of.
Yet,I feel the crime rate here speaks for itself. Could this possibly be the reason the media were not allowed to come to his party? Palmer can't fake the fact that it served the city well to know he was obviously out of the loop about something that is quite obvious to everyone else. It's sad that while he chooses to pose and smile for the camera, our murder rate continues to climb. Seems to me he should have better things to do.
