Eye for an eye
Hi, Ed, I was watching TV the other day and they were talking about lethal injection as a cruel and unusual punishment. When they kill people, that’s cruel and unusual punishment. I believe if you kill someone with an axe, you should be killed with an axe; if you shoot someone, you should be shot. These little gangbangers around here, the only way you’re going to stop them is to start doing that to them. When they shoot someone, if they are juveniles, put their names and their faces in the paper because they’ve got people up on Stuyvesant Avenue scared to death! All over the city people are scared to talk to the cops. So we need to do something drastic.

Ed, I've said this before. Sometimes a parent does all he or she can. They put everything they have into properly raising their children. Their there for them, watch out for them, shelter them, educate them, participate in school projects with them, take them to church, teach them respect and consideration for elders, authority and others. Parents who are knowledgeable about their childs social lives and yet, the kids choose to do the wrong things. Yes, there are genuine parents out their, but the off-duty parents give them a bad name. If all the parents were hopeless and provided no guidance to their kids, we would have alot more problems than we do. So don't blame every parent, if their kids make a conscience choice to do wrong. Most parents try every day in everyway.
hey Ed, how bout the fact that some of these "bloods" have parents that are just as bad as them... out there selling drugs, robbing, and killing. So what else are they gonna show their kids than the same thing. We need to start taking notes from those middle eastern countries that cut your hand off if u steal, etc etc.
