On our turf

Hello, Ed, I just wanted to tell the Hamilton Board of Education that if they can really justify how we should spend $2.8 million for three artificial football fields when the schools only play about four or five games a year on their own field, then I will be willing to change my vote next time. If the fields are in such bad shape, maybe they ought to look at the person who is in charge of maintaining the fields and finding out what the problem is. Come on, people, it’s only four or five games for crying out loud! Thanks, Ed, for letting me get this off my chest!

But the new turf is so sweeeet! Isn’t the added footspeed worth $2.8 million? It’s good for at least a couple touchdowns a year.—Ed. Note

This comment is in regards to the seven state troopers who "allegedly" sexually assaulting a 25 year old girl. I love how everyone loves to put their opinions out there, when they don't even know the truth. People that believe everything they see on t.v. or read in the paper are simple minded. The Trentonian puts what they want in the paper, even if it means ruining peoples lives, they are not facts. As far as I am concerned, and I can say this because I am a 27 year old college student, that this girl sounds like a real dirtball. No one disputes the fact that no means no, but it's real hard for me to believe some girl went home with 7 troopers and was raped. I think I would believe 7 troopers would not let this happen, I know how girls are, they are crazy bitches. She probably planned the whole thing out. You don't go back to a house with 7 guys you don't know. 7 people don't do this. These guys lives are on hold now, they are fathers, brothers, boyfriends, sons, and husbands. They shouldn't even be suspended, why should we believe her word over theirs? What is her punishment and what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? It sounds like a bunch of bull to me, she's probably a little crazy easy girl, enjoyed herself and regrets it or wanted a little fast money for the holidays. I hope if she is lying, they all sue the balls off her and the state, for ruining these good men's lives. Don't judge people who you would call in a heartbeat for help when you needed them, shame on you people.
