More on mean cops

Ed, somehow I have no problem in believing the story about the “mean cop.” Since when do we have a charge of administrative interference? Since when can’t we ask a cop why they have to be so nasty to someone without getting charged? I’ve run into the same thing with Hamilton cops; they don’t seem to know their own and they don’t respect anybody whether they are in trouble or not. Hats off to mean cop.
Question Authority
Maybe the cops get a little gruff, but at the same time, they’re under a lot of pressure — every motor vehicle stop is a potentially dangerous situation — and if you just shut up they can do their job and send you on your way.—Ed. Note

Don't try to justify their behavior. Hamilton cops don't rule the world. If they don't know how to speak to people, why are they cops. Aren't they supposed to be able to differentiate between the good and the bad? We all realize that alot of pressure goes along with any law enforcement job, but there's no need for pushiness on anyone's part. If the person, had been committing a crime that's one thing, but, if the person was just making an inquiry, there was no need for this type of behavior. After all don't the police represent the city they work for? If, this is true, then Hamilton has the most ignorant, racist, loud mouthed, domineering,
overindulgent, jarhead, theatrical police force yet. The carry themselves as if they are homeland security, with the responsibility to protect Hamilton against the world. Everyday, they put on their costumes, with the big guns and go out to protect the world, or at least Hamilton. I personally think, Trenton has a better police force. These guys have really been up against danger and handle it with professionalism and knowledge of public inquiry. They live real crime everyday. Hamilton, just plays at it. Therefore when they think something is going wrong they over play it just to make themselves look good, it's expected. Unless, of course, you've run into a New York City cop. They shoot first and ask questions later. Believe me Hamilton is not that.

I agree, Trenton is better. They have handled crime on many different levels and always approach each situation very professionally. Great guys and I feel better knowing their around.

hamilton police will receive their rude awakening when the states attorney gets pulled over. He rides through Hamilton on his way home everyday. Beleive me, that will be the last time you read a
story like this.
