Goofing off

Ed, can someone tell me where I can call to lodge a complaint against some employees at the Mercer County Board of Social Services on Wolverton Avenue? I was there last week and they had a girl in Window 1 sound asleep in her chair for the whole hour I was there. Today I returned to find this same girl dealing with a client, and you can tell by looking and listening to her that she had mental issues. The girl was sitting, laughing in her face so loud that I could hear from where I sat, waiting for the specialist to come down to see me. I’d really like to complain about this girl and several other employees. I’d appreciate your help.
Waiting Game
Cut her some slack. We need more laughter in this world. —Ed. Note

Isn't this every agency in the city? No one knows anything. Such as: This is my first day on this job. I can't answer that question. My supervisors, is out to lunch, on vacation or out sick. Someone will get back to you. Call another exchange, or hold on. Or, tell your community agent, form a community group, let back talk know, present it to city council, let the Governor's Office know, grow up, figure it out, or just don't bother us at all. This is the response from Palmer's Office on down.

Palmer's Office is worse. They'll set up an appointment that Palmer will cancel at the last minute. Only to get back to you to schedule another one. Which never happens.

Speaking of agencies, has anyone signed on to an organization called, American Water Resources? This agency states, they have been authorized by the City of Trenton to offer its LineSaver Program to residential water customers of Trenton Water Works. A letter from Trenton Water Works was mailed to every homeowner in the city, a year ago. It simply announced the company, and reminded the home owners that it was their responsibility for the water and sewer lines that run from their home's exterior, as well as interior pipes which lead to the municipal mains in the street. It went on the say that lines can be costly and problems generally require immediate attention. Also most homeowners insurance policies do not cover this expense. The responsibility would rest on the property owner. Therefore, Service Line Protection Program, available through American Water Resources, Inc. a subsidiary of American Water the largest water company in North America, would be available. Their Line Saver contract protects homeowner from the high cost of water and sewer line repairs, both in and outside of their homes. Several prices were quoted, and like most of us, I fell for it. Of course, when I had a pipe burst and contacted the company, the script flipped and I was told to handle it myself or contact the city. I did and the city worker informed me that the problem I had was indeed included in their list of items covered in the contract. I paid $211.73 for 1 years protection. No go, they simply refused to honor the contract and I was directed back to the city. Now here's the trip, American Water Resources, can only be contacted through one phone exchange. In addition, no one in any city administrators office knows anything about this company. No one could even direct me to the correct office to file a complaint. Problem being how do I get reimbursed for a purchasing a contract from a company the city authorized? I have been informed by sever city employees that have experienced the same problem from this company as well as the city. Consequently, I notiified the State Attorney Generals Office of the Public Advocate, Maybe now, I'll get some answers. Future update will be provided.
