Y Give It To Them?
Ed, I read the article about Palmer’s wish list for Obama. Some of these items are a joke. Construction of the long-awaited Trenton YMCA. Why give money to an organization like that? They can’t even handle the money they have now. Giving it to the Y is like washing it down the toilet. They are selling Camp Meta — that’s a real slap in the face to Meta Griffith of Griffith Electric who donated the money 40 years ago.

You can question the Y’s business record, but it does great things for many young people and is an important organization.—Ed. Note

To Ed Note,
If city men want to work on Obamas building jobs they should acquire some skills as the union boys did. I dont think any employer ,black or white will pay someone for sitting on a front porch and drinking a forty.
I'm just amazed how many ignorant responses there are on this site that refers any and everything to sitting on porches and drinking a forty. Is this really the solution to all the problems we have in this city. Perhaps some of these problems should be directed to the people running this city. The front porches wouldn't be so crowded. I'm so glad that Obama will have complete transparency about what the money is being spent on. He wants people to have jobs. Not some people or certain types of people. But, I'm sure he'll be looking out for that too.
