Ed, we were sitting in the park watching some baseball. A stray pit bull came over to where we were sitting. The kids were all there. Fortunately, the dog was very friendly. It had no tags. We tried to take control of the dog. I called Hamilton Animal Safety program and they basically said that they were full and to turn the dog loose. So I called the Trenton Animal Shelter and they said they would come and pick up the dog. I couldn’t believe that the Hamilton program would say to release the dog.
