Christie-Daggot Combination
Ed, if Chris Christie is seriously interested in becoming governor of New Jersey, he should make Chris Daggett his lieutenant governor and running mate. Granted, they would make strange bedfellows, but the two of them together can easily win the election. Sign me.
“Dump Corzine”
Well, it’s a little late for that. But if we’re talking hindsight, what about a Daggett ticket with Christie as No. 2? As for bedfellows, something tells me Christie would hog the covers.—Ed. Note

The New York Time released a story today, that in March Gov.Corzine's campaign requested public records about Chritie's tenure as a prosecutor. Prior to this article Christie had loan Michelle Brown, a long time family friend $46,000. Christie stated it was simply to help a friend in need. Responding to the request Ms. Brown interceded to oversee the responses to the inquiries. Ms. Brown took over for the staff member who normally oversees the Freedom of Information Act requests. The requested information included records about Christies's travel and expenses along with Ms. Brown's travel records. It has been reported that Mr. Christie stayed in luxury hotels costing as much as $400 per night (as many as 18) out of the 24times Mr. Christie traveled, within his employment. This figure far exceeds the $280 stipend the government allows for travel. Didn't Christie prosecute Sharp James for something very similiar to this?
