Barack continues to defend Rev. Wright

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama defended his association once again with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright during a radio interview with popular Philadelphia WPHT radio host Michael Smerconish.
The taped interviewed aired today during Smerconish's morning show. Obama did not appear live because is on a family vacation to the Virgin Islands.
Obama continues to defend Wright saying the minister's controversial words were taken out of context.
"This is a pillar of the community, and if you go there on Easter, this Easter Sunday, and you sat down there in the pew, you would think this is just like any other church."
Wright has stepped down as an active pastor of the church, but Obama said he never heard any controversial comments when he was present at services.
"The ones that are most offensive are ones that I never knew about until they were reported on. . . . I don't want to suggest that somehow, the loops you have been seeing typified services all the time. But that is the danger of the YouTube era. It doesn't excuse what he said. But it does give it some perspective," he said.
Obama said Wright is a respected minister.
"Bill Clinton invited him to the White House when he was having his personal crises," he said.

Birds of feather flock together. You can make judgement about a person by the company he keeps.

The greatness of America is church and state are considered separate. But when a pastor makes anti- soical remarks and is flocked by the followers, what the difference between Obama pastor and Iranian Mullah's?

Just becuase Clinton was with the pastor does not amke clinton part of obvious hatred mission. The photo which Obama shows of Clinton and Rev Wright is not at the church but at the white house. So if Clinton was not at any of the sermons how can he bring Clinton into picture. By bringing Clinton in to the picture - Obama is trying to be divisive. So that even if Hillary wins - she looses because of Rev Wright. Thats not right. Common Obama - come clean. Stop lying that you were never at any of the sermons when Rev Wright preeched hatred and racisim. Come clean. remember you can hide from the truth but not run awaqy from it.
