Last week, I was working on some songs witha friend. Left his house in Downingtown and much to my surprise, my car was not where I left it. First, panic went through me. What criminal ring in Downingtown would steal my car on a cool Wednesday night. Then common sense arrived. I realized I couldn't park where I parked. Well, I guess I could, you just get towed.

Called the PD and they were quite helpful. Even offered suggestions on how to get it back that night. But that was nothing but a waste of time. The tow-truck driver was gone for the evening.

Too much cash, two rides and 12 hours later I was finally driving my car home. And the price of the tow was 10 times the cost of the ticket. Lesson learned -- I'm not going to Downingtown anymore.
