BOYS SOCCER PLAYOFFS SET TO RESUME

Following a one-day weather hiatus, the District One Classes A and AA boys soccer playoffs will pick up today. The semifinal rounds feature Springfield and Delco Christian.
And, as of 1 p.m. Wednesday, the championship games will be played Thursday, which means back to back games. This late in the season, that's a bummer for the players. It equates to no down time to celebrate their title-game berth and no time to rest their obviously tired legs.
We'll see if District One steps up and changes the dates of the impending finals.
