Father Phleger's Sin Parade

Staunch Obama supporter, Father Michael Phleger, has put on leave by the Catholic Church for saying from the pulpit "America is the greatest sin against God."

According to news reports, "The activist and priest said he meant to say racism was the greatest sin."

Does that make America the second greatest?

We'll all have to try harder.

UPDATE: In any case, it seems Father Phleger has his theology all wrong. When it comes to "shalt nots," racism doesn't even make the list.

Phleger appears to be confusing Democratic secular theology for the real thing.

Bitter blacks and Apologist Libs only see white racism as a sin. The much more common black variety is just fine with them.

Ain’t that the truth!
That “church” should lose its non-profit benefit status for the clear violations of play politics from the pulpit.
And those preachers should be charged with ethnic intimidation for all the harm they cause race relations by baselessly stirring racial suspicion and unrest.

randal, would you set that church on a lower rung than the church of scientology?

Not so tough. Yes Black Militant Trinity is worse. I don’t recall the Sciecentology Church preaching “Down with whitey! Down with America!” to our maybe next President for the past 20 years.
