Game Off: Inclement Weather postpones Game 3

Apparently Major League Baseball won't let itself get embarrassed by trying to play a playoff game through bad weather again.

Today's Game 3 of the NLDS at Coors Field has been postponed. It's currently 23 degrees here (at 10:40 in the morning) and they're calling for snow tonight.

Game 3 will now take place at the original time Game 4 was on tap for -- Sunday, 10:07 EST.

No time has been scheduled for Game 4, which will take place here in Denver on Monday.

The postponement gives the Phillies one advantage: they can move Game 1 starter Cliff Lee up if they want. Lee, who threw a complete game at the Rockies in Wednesday's Game 1, could come back in Game 4 on full rest.

Pedro Martinez was on tap to pitch Game 3 tonight; no word on if he'll still get that start. J.A. Happ could get the call instead.
