I thought this was a local paper? How many readers actually live in the GV, OJR or SF school districts? I would bt not many. You might also want to look at Phoenixville JR. Joel Flott. Come on Phoenix get with the local program. The Purple Press is passing you while you are reading this and posting other topic and issues that do not effect the area.

The Phoenix is a local paper, and when I attend sporting events, not only do I like to know who to watch for the Phantoms, but for the other team as well. I think it is admirable that Mr. Sankey took the time to come up with a list like this for the readers. Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean you have to bash it.

You know who to watch at sporting events when their superstar is in action...There are no numbers for the team sports that have them listed.
The running or track and field sports you wouldn't know them without a picture. I not only did he leave off the top runner in PHOENIXVILLE, but probably the top athlete in the area Ryan Krais from Methacton. Someone who will probably be in the Olympics. Come back and cover the PHOENIXVILLE teams before trying to be a regional paper. Or change the name and the advertizing.
