As time passes, it seems the place (if there is one) known as "North Penn" is gradually passing too.
The most recent example is the renaming of of the North Penn Chamber of Commerce to the Penn Suburban Chamber of Commerce. There used to be a North Penn Senior Center, now the PEAK Center. Once there was a North Penn Hospital, now its named for Abington, even though its in Hatfield Township. There was even a North Penn Reporter newspaper, now simply The Reporter. Its as if there's something negative associated with name North Penn.
What will they name the high school?
