Ed, why is nobody connecting Britney Spears’ behavior with post-partum depression? Do you have to be someone like Brooke Shields to have that taken into account? Is the press just having a field day playing up the “bimbo” aspect. Obviously there is something wrong with her. I can’t understand why no one is talking about that possibility.

I think we can all agree that something is wrong with her. But as long as all the scandal helps her market her latest discharge of teeny-bopper pop, I won’t feel sorry for the freak. —Ed. Note

Britney's heartbroken. How did we all forget she married too young. After Kevin ( the guy who left another woman who was carrying his child) learned how much alimony he would get, he expressed no feeling for her at all. She's young and heartbreak at her age can be devastating. She needs time, patience and professional help. Everyone doesn't deal with this situation with rehab or a small prison stay. I think it awful how the media depicts her as an empty headed freak who only wants to try to sing and shake her butt. To make matters worse, she's had to give up her children to a man that only married her for her money. Hey, back up people and try to cut her some slack, she's paid enough dues by marrying a money grubbing bum. A few years ago, everyone loved the Pop Princess. Now we can't find a decent word to say about her. How would you handle it. Show some respect for a woman obviously in great emotional pain. And hope that she gets some professional help soon, before things become irreversible.
