Ed, I have been listening to Corzine. Now he is leaning to laying off people in the state because not as many people went for the early retirement deal. They would have had more than enough people if they had stuck to the original plan. Also it would have helped if the stupid state employees’ union would have gone along with it. Here’s an idea, if every employee would take only three days furlough out of one year then they would have enough money to cover the layoffs.
