Hi, just thought I would let you know that after the holidays the Christmas tree is given to Habitat for Humanity. The wood is used to help build homes for people in need, it does not just become a pile of mulch. So a special tradition that has delighted many for years and years gets put to good use. The money used for this is paid for by a private company, so it is not as if taxpayers are paying for it.
