Too Much Booze

I brought my son to the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Trenton, and was appalled by the amount of alcohol in the street, everywhere. What are they teaching these people? I hope they never bring this parade to Hamilton.

Yeah, you will get booze in the streets on St. Patrick’s Day. It’s, um, tradition?— Ed. Note

I have no problem with people watching the parade and indulging in a drink or two but I don't think the people walking IN the parade should have a drink in their hand. It's not a very good example, it's not safe and some don't know how to handle their liquor and become obnoxious which could be bad publicity for the parade.

It ahs been a tradition for 30 years. And who are you to say don't bring it to Hamilton. This is something that many people look forward to every year. And if you don't like it stay home. I live in Hamilton and wouldn't mind if they brought it here.
