Cut State Workers

Ed, so the cry baby state worker unions protested. Big deal. We need to start a program of immediate layoffs and cut the bloated number of state workers. The state can and will function. Many other states are laying off because that is the smart, tough and correct decision to make — not trying to suck every penny out of John Q. Taxpayer like Gov. Do Nothing with his increased fees and new taxes.

This guy will be the first one crying if something happens to his kid, or his welfare gets cut. Or if "god forbid" he has to wait in line at motor vehicles for 20 more minutes!

The Ax must be too stupid to realize that the only state workers to be laid off will be the working low income class, not the Govs. pals. You're just too stupid to realize that.

All state employees are facing mandated furlough days with few exceptions. There is alot of waste and overpaid enployees. What other employer pays a "confidential employee" with a high school education $97,000/year or allows "union officials" to occupy "no show, little performance" jobs and still be well paid?
