T-Devils look for first 3 game win streak

The T-Devils have a chance to win three straight games for the first time all season tonight when they take on the Johnstown Chiefs at 7 p.m. at Sovereign Bank Arena.

A 3-2 win over the Reading Royals and a 4-1 win over the Dayton Bombers have Trenton sitting in a three-way tie for last place in the Northern Division with Johnstown and Wheeling. But it can separate itself from the bottom of the pack with a win tonight over the Chiefs. Wheeling plays tonight at home against Cincinnati, so hopefully the first-place 'Clones can get the job done. The Cyclones currently are tied with Elmira with 40 points. Both teams have identical 19-6-2 records.

I think this is an important stretch for the T-Devils confidence wise. They can dig themselves out of a deep hole they put themselves in earlier in the year with a couple of wins here. However, playing four games in five days can be a tough challenge. Even though they play the two teams that are tied for first, I think they are both winnable games. The team has just looked better over the past couple of weeks, especially in the third period. The T-Devils have put together back-to-back wins when being tied in the third period.

Check back after the game for a full recap of tonight's action.
