I wish the best for Mr. Chertok. Mrs. Chertok worked quietly in her own way to make Coatesville a wonderful City. Mrs. Chertok, Mr. Chertok, Larry Chertok and the rest of their family loved Coatesville, and I hope that those who worked along side of her continue to support the efforts that she initiated.
My condolences to her family.
I am so sorry for the Chertok family. This was so sudden. Please know that we respected and cared very deeply for Joanne. She was a wonderful, caring person.
May you all know peace during this time of grief.
Joanne and Bill Chertok are true heroes in this community. They could have left for their retirement years ago but chose to remain active in Coatesville civic life. Joanne Chertok was active here right up until the end, being on the Zoning Hearing Board among other things. They will both be missed as neighbors. My thoughts and prayers go to Bill and his family at this difficult time.
Hero: One who sacrifices personally for the benefit of a greater cause.
That's the Chertoks.
