Without knowing the motives of these murders, I can guess with near certainty that this was a drug market related. When is the federal government going to wake up and realize that this is not an acceptable status quo in our country? Drugs are not as bad as the illegal market which regulates itself through violence!!! Our kids should not have to grow up in an atmosphere like this!!! Would the authorities find this kind of violence acceptable if it occured in "nicer" neigborhoods? No. I don't care if we have to go to a system like they have in Switzerland where addicts are given their fixes. It would be preferable to this. End drug-war violence now. Legalize, REGULATE (cause it aint regulated now) and tax this stuff. Put safety first, period.
Good points. Check out this website from Law Enforcement Against Prohibition! http://www.leap.cc/cms/index.php
I agree- I live on the same street, and Carnell was indeed dealing drugs (although this detail has been omitted from all reports to date). Law enforcement was aware of this, as were all the neighbors. Unfortunately there was insufficient evidence to pursue an investigation...
In the end it's all about the money. The current drug market is very lucrative for everyone involved, except the users and addicts.

So the federal government is to blame? For the problems in Coatesville?
How about the scores of parents down there that should have never had children? They take no responsibility as parents, no interest in their kids and just keep having them. That's right, your kids. So start being parents. The reason it doesn't happen in "nicer" neighborhoods is because we pay attention to our children and raise responsible citizens. Stop blaming the problems on the rest of the world. If you can't feed em', don't breed em'.
