The Fraternal Order of Police Survivor’s Fund pays for funeral expenses and it helps fund families of fallen officers throughout the entire year. With the deaths of 8 officers in the last 3 years, the fund has paid for more expenses than expected. It was set up to pay for a funeral every few years. With each officer’s death, the fund covers about $40,000 worth of funeral costs. The proceeds from this beef & beer will go directly to this fund.
