Homicide, Arson Prelims Continued; Microtel Robbery Hearing Still Scheduled for Thursday

Randall R. Harner, of Girardville, has been accused of killing Debbie French while she was house-sitting in West Vincent. His preliminary hearing was continued until Thursday, Sept. 25 before Magisterial District Judge DeAngelo in North Coventry.
Pomeroy volunteer firefighter Robert Tribbett Jr. has been accused of setting homes and sheds on fire in Sadsbury. His preliminary hearing was continued until Thursday, Sept. 25 before Magisterial District Judge Nancy Gill in Parkesburg.
For another case -- the Microtel robbery that ended in a fatal shootout -- the preliminary hearing for 15-year-old CASH freshman Calvin Eugene Haines Jr., of Coatesville, (as of now) is still slated for tomorrow at 10 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge William Kraut in the Government Services Building in West Goshen.
