Police Survivors Benefit

The first Chester County fundraiser benefiting the Philadelphia Police Survivor fund will be held Saturday, June 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Blarney Stone, 1227 West Chester Pk, West Chester PA (610-436-5222).

You must purchase a Beef & Beer ticket for this private event. Due to limited space, you must call to have a ticket held for you at the door. Tickets cost $30.00 and can be purchased immediately at the Blarney Stone, or thru the Beef & Beer organizer, Stacey Charter -- 484-678-9983 or e-mail staceycharter@yahoo.com.

The $30.00 ticket price includes all you can eat and drink. As well as a 50/50 raffle, DJ Johnny Famous, raffle prizes and give-aways.

The Fraternal Order of Police Survivor’s Fund pays for funeral expenses and it helps fund families of fallen officers throughout the entire year. With the deaths of 8 officers in the last 3 years, the fund has paid for more expenses than expected. It was set up to pay for a funeral every few years. With each officer’s death, the fund covers about $40,000 worth of funeral costs. The proceeds from this beef & beer will go directly to this fund.
