Last week, I did something that I sorta regret now. For some reason I joined facebook. Well, I know why. I had some friends convince me to join so we could start the marathon games of scrabble. It sounded like a good idea. But within 24 hours people that I haven't spoken to in years found their way back into my life. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but I think there's a reason why we part ways and don't stay in touch. And I'm alright with it.

I have random luck with running into people I haven't seen in years at concerts, getting gas, in bars. That's when it's kinda interesting. You give each other that look and then it's my god, what have you been up to? When I say random luck I really mean it. I graduated from high school with 22 other kids. I did the math one day and I think the number I came up with was I could have potentially met around 600 people in my high school career. It was a very small school. And I still run in to people. But now I think facebook may have taken a bit of that away, not just from me, but from us. Now instead of seeing someone at the gas station and saying, my god what have you been up to, I can ignore them and write them a message (Little sarcasm there.)
