Global Warming? I'll Take Advantage
But when it's 65 degrees in February, I'm going to take full advantage. Last night, I grilled at my new place for the first time. It was delicious. And easy. Grilling's great because it cuts down on dishes and makes everything taste better. I wasn't the only one out either.
I looked up and my new neighbor was out on her deck doing the same thing. So we started chatting. She asked what I was making, sausage, peppers and onions I said. How about you? Filet mignon. We both liked each others dish ideas but I was a bit jealous. But I was happy with my dinner anyway.
Quite honestly, I'll grill all winter. Snow? Who cares. I had a charcoal grill in Vermont that I'd brush the snow off of to use. My neighbors thought I was nuts, but as long as you're near the grill it's warm. And drinking helps.
Now, that I'm in West Chester I use propane. It's easier to control the temperature and much more efficient during the winter. I know people argue -- propane, charcoal, woodchips -- but I don't care. Food over fire is what it's all about to me.
