NLCS: Phils roster set (Myers and Kendrick, out)

Just a quick note on the roster:

The Phils trimmed it by a pitcher for the NLCS.

Brett Myers and Kyle Kendrick were left off the roster; Chan Ho Park and Eric Bruntlett were added.

I'm not surprised by either drop. Kendrick didn't pitch in the NLDS and isn't needed since whoever doesn't start among the rotation memebers can act as a 'long man.'

Myers made one appearance in the NLDS, and was far from sharp. He's been battling health issues all season and Park is the wiser choice.

Bruntlett gives the Phils a pinch runner. If you're a whining Phillies fan wondering why a guy hitting .170 is on the roster, were you also ripping Charlie Manuel for pinch running with Cliff Lee last week?
