This morning, downtown along Bridge Street, the streets are looking pretty clear. How is it where you live and work? Has your borough/township done a good job cleaning up the snowfall?

It might look OK because it didn't go below freezing last night.

This was the first real snow of the season, and as usual PennDOT and the road crews (and their managers) fall down on the job with the first snow.

I work in Malvern and we didn't even bother leaving the office until 7 pm and didn't get home until after 8 pm - over an hour for about a 10 mile drive.

Route 29 was one line of cars moving 5 mph from the GV Corporate Center all the way to Pothouse Road.

Very icy, and no salt at all on the road. Why are PennDOT and/or the townships being so stingy with the salt?

Don't give me nonsense about not being able to get through the traffic - I saw it was snowing heavily at 3:30 pm - it was obvious to me it was time to get out salting. Where were the trucks?
