Traffic
I was talking with Mary from the Colonial Theater the other day, and she commented that, hopefully, a nice benefit to the new crosswalk signs on Bridge St. would deterring truck drivers from using that route and use one that does not requires them to drive through town. So obviously traffic is bad, especially in this area. My question to you, the fine readers is what do you think are some solutions to alleviate these issues?

Build two 14 story apartment towers?
Just wait until the bridge is out!!
Well isn't it funny Rt 113 on one block heading west and 2 blocks empty before Rt29. You cannot prevent truck traffic from those routes.
Block ALL vehicular traffic on Bridge from Starr Street to Gay Street. Take over the PPG property by eminent domain (since they can't seem to get their act together) and build a new road through down town.
Have the police check for drunk drivers that patronize all the bars we have down on bridge st., and the new ones that will be opening. After they all get arrested , they will be walking down there.Just because a bar sellS drinks for ALOT money than they use to , to keep out the riftraft, the drinks are will still get pepole drunk.DUH!
