Kantrowitz concedes 19th race
Republican Steve Kantrowitz, who challenged incumbent State Sen. Andy Dinniman for Dinniman’s 19th District seat, conceded his loss early Wednesday morning.
In a statement released to The Phoenix , Kantrowitz said, “I congratulate Sen. Dinniman for winning the election.
“I’d like to thank my supporters for their hard work and dedication,” he said. Then he spoke briefly of his future: “I will continue to work for better government in our area.”
With results from all District precincts in Chester and Montgomery Counties finally, though unofficially, tallied by their respective Departments of Voter Services, Dinniman held 84,141 votes to Kantrowitz’s 61,568. The totals represented a 57.7% to 42.3% victory for Dinniman.
