In the fall of 2002, The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania proclaimed the second Saturday of every January as “Invite your Neighbor to Dinner Day”. Since then, neighbors in communities all over the country have been participating as word of Dinner Day continues to spread!

We are a grass roots group that has formed to promote this simple idea to bring neighbors, communities and thus America closer together. Ask a neighbor you have never met, or one you have waved at but never taken the time to get to know. Make a difference in your own community and in your own backyard! Invite your neighbor before they invite you!
