Burning Bridget Cleary announce "Everything Is Alright"

There's lots of so exciting I think I wanna jig around the office news coming out of the Burning Bridget Cleary camp today.

Namely, they've finally laid the pipes for their highly anticipated new CD--Everything is Alright. And after 9 months of writing & recording it--it's safe to say it's their baby. The album, which is sure to be ripe with cheer, will be out just in time for the holidays. They also announced a fresh batch of upcoming holiday shows including their CD Release Party & Holiday Show Extravaganza on Dec 13 at the ol' Steel City Coffeehouse.

Check the comments to see their full-on statement and slate of upcoming shows for the full deal.

FROM BURNING BRIDGET CLEARY:

Dear Friends and Celtic Music Fans,

Well, the long-awaited day has finally arrived! Our new CD, “Everything is Alright”, has gone into production! Nine months in the making, our new release includes both the old and the new; time-tested traditional tunes, passed on to us by some of the greatest fiddlers in the world of Irish music, mingled with our own original compositions following Celtic and folk styles.

More sweet news! We have been blessed to have received endorsement quotes for the CD from three of the GIANTS in Irish music, Martin Hayes, Liz Carroll, and Tony DeMarco! We are truly honored to be recognized by these brilliant, world-renowned musicians and we’re very grateful for their generous words. This is incredibly thrilling stuff!

Here are some upcoming shows that you won’t want to miss! We all know how hectic the holiday months can be, so please mark your calendars today. There is so much to be thankful for . . . come join us and we’ll celebrate together! The next show is:

Sunday, November 16th from 4-7 pm at Siamsa Irish Pub and Restaurant in Stroudsburg, PA

(We’ll be taking mail orders for the CD at this show only! We’ll have it in hand by the first week of December. Be the first to hear it)!

And then . . . You are joyfully invited to our . . .

CD Release Party & Holiday Show Weekend Extravaganza!

Saturday, December 13th at 8:30 pm:
Steel City Coffee House
Phoenixville, PA
(Opening set – Mike Brill)

Sunday, December 14th at 3:00 pm:
Godfrey Daniels Folk Listening Room
Bethlehem, PA

Our friend, Warren Holohan of “Ink and Essence Screen Printing” in Pottstown, has been busy designing our very first Burning Bridget Cleary tee shirts! Cool beans! Our “BBC” shirt will make its debut at the CD release parties. You will find Brother Warren and his distinctive Celtic designs to be a presence at just about every Celtic music festival in the region. Lou, our band fashionista, has been wearing his shirts on stage all summer! www.inkessence.com.

One more newsworthy note:
The Ulster American Society is sponsoring a Northern Ireland film festival next weekend (November 7th- 8th) at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. We are honored that they will be exclusively playing “Burning Bridget Cleary” music before, after, and during the breaks! All ticket holders will be in a drawing for an all expenses paid week’s vacation for two in Northern Ireland. Other prizes include Balleek pottery and Burning Bridget Cleary CD’s, of course!

If you want to go, $8 discount tickets are available on their website with the discount code, ulster. “Will call” tickets will be available only until 7:30 on Friday morning, and no tickets will be available at the door. For information call +1 (866) 452-3472 or go to: http://ulsteramerican.org.

That’s all for now, folks! Hope to see you all very soon!
