Broadcast Film Critics Awards, Golden Globe Awards

VH1 presented the Broadcast Film Critics Awards last night in Hollywood. The show repeats this weekend or you can watch it online here http://www.vh1.com/. Another precursor to the Academy Awards, this awards show has come a long way in the past few years. Last night's broadcast was a full two hours and featured most of the nominated stars, complete with red carpet coverage.
The biggest Critics' Choice winner was Slumdog Millionaire, which took 5 awards: best film, best director, best young actor, best writer and best composer.

Don't forget Sunday night's the second biggest night in Hollywood, when the Hollywood Foreign Press presents the Golden Globe Awards. The show airs on NBC at 9 p.m. preceded by red carpet arrivals at 8 p.m. Arrivals will also be covered on E! beginning at 6 p.m.
