Palm trees in Toronto ( change is good )

Its not really clear what is meant by the term "Global Warming" . Warming compared to what? The temperature last year, a hundred years ago? a thousand ? two hundred million? You can bet the temperatures around here sure rose the last time an asteroid hit. Suppose global temperature is on an upward trend, (flawed science, subject to conjecture) why are people treating it like such a negative? Think of the unusable wilderness in the (now) frozen north that will be open to development and use by people. The growing season will be much longer in the latitudes near the poles, so there won't be any problem with growing food. Old coasts will submerge, new ones will rise, and flourish . People will move inland and rebuild anew. A new, better infrastructure will emerge. Unadaptable species, plant and animal, will become extinct, new species will evolve, and prevail. The world will belong to those who adapt, polar bears and their kin are done, it will be our time. Maybe its better to go along with evolution and be among the winners, than to try to stop it.
