Ed, on Vince Zarate’s article, about Gov. Corzine outsourcing, getting a British transportation consulting firm. There’s no one in New Jersey who could do that consulting work? Unbelievable. If that was a Republican, there would be hell to pay, but it’s New Jersey, “perfect together.” They even drive on the wrong side of the road. They’re consulting us on our transportation? Unbelievable.

WHO invented and refined Spend and Borrow into a fine art? Try New Jersey's own Christie Whitman. Not once but Twice did she dip into the state employees Pension to help balance her budget and fund pet GOP projects, ie. the Famous get rid of state employees to privization of Motor Vehicle inspections by a company which has DEEP pockets for the GOP. Seems the only out rage was about the slowness of the New and Improved Privatized inspection stations and MV services. Looks like Corizine is just following in her steps. Remember, whenever there is a cut back in state spending, the state almost always lays off state employees and cuts programs for the needy and elderly.
