Walk the walk

Hi, Ed, according to a recent Trentonian article, Councilwoman Lartigue told Director Santiago “It’s time to put your foot down.” I believe she should mean (this) in the form of foot patrols. Santiago has all the stats and knows when the crimes are being committed. Put the foot patrols in the neighborhood at those times. Bring back the old-time beat cops.
Down with Beats
By the time the stats go through the spin machine, the cops on foot will get dizzy finding the right spots.—Ed. Note

Councilwoman Lartigue is seldom right. She previously stated that there would be no if's an's or but's regarding residency issues. Well Palmer stood firm and once again she proven ineffective in her representation of the west ward. She seems to always come on strong and fade before the race is finished. With all the wind blowing around in city council chambers, something should have been concluded at this point. Maybe the investigation of the school system scandal, or checking contractor credential. She stated she wanted to check out their credentials before any jobs were awarded in Trenton. Seems to me the other councilwoman totally ignored this grand stand gesture, when she took $10,000 from Senator Torricelli. Perhaps that's the reason for Palmer's constant excuse making, when it comes to Santiago.
