Double Pensions
Ed, this message is for Gov. Jon Corzine: Gov. Corzine, before you lay off any rank-and-file member that works for the State of New Jersey you should do an audit on all state pensioners. Many politicians or government workers are receiving more than one pension. You should pass a law where you can eliminate those extra pensions. It should be one person, one pension. You got to make some tough choices. You got to do what it takes to be a leader or come next election you’re out.

If only the governor would heed the advice of BackTalkers he’d whip this state into shape in no time.—Ed. Note

This is true. At the Board of Education if you come their with a pension, you can work for another 14 months and qualify for another one. Just one more corrupt place were people do little or nothing and get paid twice. Someone should go through their administrative staffs salaries with a fine tooth comb, you'd be surprised.
