Ed, in regards to the New Year’s baby. What ever happened to morality? Do they realize that their baby will have a 90 percent chance of growing up in poverty? What a shame. What a terrible sign of the times. Unwed teenage parents and they are so proud of it. Where are their parents?

If they’ve been following BackTalk, they’ve heard plenty of the voices of doom. You may be the first to present that specific stat on poverty. They’ll need a lot of luck and a lot of love to make a go of it. They’re not proud to have had a baby out of wedlock. They know they made a mistake. But they’re not ashamed, either.
