Ed, I am president of a local Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in Mercer County. We are absolutely allowed to fund raise in New Jersey. We are registered with the division of charities. And with the attorney general’s office. It is not against the law to solicit in the state of New Jersey. To set the record straight it is legal to do so.
