This is exactly what we need, community policing, not a police state. Mathews will do a great job because he wants to involve everyone to solve the troubled image of the dept.Bring people together, provide alternatives to selling drugs will require effort from all of us who live in this city. Even if your one of the na-sayers, get the guts to get involved to make this a better place for everyone. Its easy to sit back and throw stones, but it takes effort to make a positve difference that will impact future generations.Let us all work together to improve OUR image. It starts here, it starts now, it starts with that image you see in the mirror.
I really believe that what the citizens need to do is "Pray".
Pray that someone with some sense will stand up and take the job, Because I believe that the "job" will not be done by this man or this administration.
