Majority Policy Committee, Drucker to hold hearing on redistricting
BERWYN--State Rep. Mike Sturla (D-Lancaster), Chairman of the House Majority Police Committee, announced that the committee will hold a public hearing to explore the issue of redistriciting from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28 at teh Tredyffrin Township Municipal Building, Keene Hall, 110 Duportail Road.
State Rep. Paul Drucker (D-Chester/Montgomery) requested the hearing and will serve as co-chairman.
The current agenda for the hearing is:
--2 p.m.: Welcome and opening remarks from Sturla and Drucker
--2:10 p.m.: Scott Casper, director of the Office of Demographic Analysis, Penna. House of Democratic Caucus
--2:40 p.m.: Sara Steelman, vice chairman of issues for Common Cause of Penna.
--3:10 p.m.: Panel from League of Women Voters of Penna: Olivia Thorne, president, and Lora Levin, vice president for issues and actions
--3:40 p..m: Closing remarks
