The curfew should be 9:00pm for all children under 18. The police have already stated that youth gang violence is a major concern this summer, so why give them a chance to stay out late.

The adults in this City need to set an example and show everyone who is in charge. The only way to force better parenting is to do what Marty Eggelston said: "increase the fine for breaking the curfew."

If you hit the parents wallet they will start to watch their kids and keep them off the streets.

This would also free up the police for more serious crimes and raise revenue for a City in a budget crises.

That Patsy Ray opposed the curfew shows how out of touch and incompetent of a representative she is.

Patsy Ray continues to vote for issues that defy logic and only harm the low income citizens she claims to represent.

Cut the police force: = more crime for the low incomce citizens and subjects more kids to violence and drigs.

Cut the codes department: lowers property values, diminshes revenue and puts people at risk (see women who died in a fire earlier this week)

Cut the volunteer fire fighters: puts low income homes and people at risk. The poor are more likely to face the risk of fire due to older homes and lack of smoke detectors. This will lead to more deaths.

Finally, if the City is in a budget crisis why are hiring all kinds of people for recreation. Patsy Ray is all about putting her friends in positions of power with high salaries, regardless of the need or the funds.

Patsy doesn't want a curfew for young people apparently. I wonder why?

It might be best not to have one. Just keep the pools and basketball courts open 24/7 so that public employees can keep an eye on your childrens all the time thus absolving you of any responsibility for their behavior.

I think Patsy Ray needs to see what the younger children are doing all over the city not just where she lives. She can sleep all day if she want's other people have to work for a living. We get up very early we dont need a bunch of children out late at night Under the age of 18 every night. They should have a curfew of 9:00 pm.
