House to the Lions

According to Columbia football coach Jason Shoff, all-state center Brian Groff has accepted Penn State's offer to become a perferred walk-on.

As our basketball crazy town of Columbia gets ready for tonight's big game at the Giant Center, I was just wondering when a certain cheer will be brought out of retirement?

Tonight, when the Tide wins, would be a good time.

And by the way, it won't be the cheerleaders bringing the cheer out of retirement either!

The people want to know!

New officer sworn in

With her parents looking on, Columbia's newest police office Holly Arndt wsa sworn in yesterday by Mayor Leo Lutz.

Arndt will attend training school starting in a few weeks for six months. It's not expected that she will be on the streets, protecting and serving, until October.

Town Square is damaged

The Columbia Police Department is investigating an accident that caused thousands of dollars in damage to the Town Square at Fifth and Locust streets, late Tuesday night.
