Game one

With the chants of Beat L-A booming from the Bank, the Phils won game one of the NLCS 3-2 on dingers by Chase "He is the Man" Utley and Pat "the Bat" Burrell.

Nice touch by Fox to have Harry the K voice over the open and have him and Larry Bowa do the line-ups.

I know I've been tough on Charlie, but he went one for three in the moves department last night. Brillant move in the eighth with Manny batting, he comes out to talk with Ryan Madsen, who ets him out.

In the first, I would have walked Manny. Definitely after standing their admiring his double, I would have dusted him.

Second bad move, pinch hitting Tagchui for Cole Hamels in the seventh. The guy hardly played all year, so why use him in that situtation. If you are going to bunt, leave Hamels in. In that post, I would have opted for Greg Dobbs to get a big inning.

Game 2 is this afternoon, I'll be listening en route to A-C.
