In Their Backyard

Ed, I have a problem with the T.P.D. They’re doing a fairly decent job, but my question is do the T.P.D. and city officials feel any embarrassment with the robberies, assaults, and shootings happening within a block or two of each of the police stations? I mean, really, Hoffman Avenue is only about four blocks long. Is it that no one cares that our criminals have evolved to such a state that they have absolutely no qualms with shooting someone only a stone’s throw away from a police station. What’s next, homicides and robberies in the police station lobby?
In the Hood
Don’t give the criminals any ideas.—Ed. Note
