Great smell
It's a tough assignment, but someone had to do it.
Holy Trinity started baking their tasty fastnachts yesterday.
Today being Shrove Tuesday, I made the annual visit to Holy Trinty to grab some pictures, which will be featured on page one of this week's edition.
The volunteers were busy, rolling, glazing, frying and packing the tasty treats.
Had two samples this morning, but right from the fryers. MMM Good.
If I were a student over there, it would be tough to go to school, with that smell going throughout the building.
You can still order the tasty treats by calling 684-0487.
There are four more weeks of baking, through the first week of March on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Thanks for the fastnachts! Hard to believe they've been doing it for 85 years!
What is the better fastnacht? Plain or glazed?
