Ah, blogging. Here's my little corner of it all -- in West Chester, and well, from wherever on whatever. I'll let you know what I'm thinking and you can let me know what you're thinking. But remember, I can delete your posts.

For A Friend...Keep Your Eyes Open

On Monday, February 16 our beloved cat pulled an 'escape run' from our home and has gone missing on West Boot Road. On occasion he dodges outdoors, but will return within an hour or two (tops) because he's much more acclimated to indoor life. We installed a personal 'cat door' that allows him to enter the home, but not get back outside (I am not a fan of him going outdoors!).

MARLOWE
Microchip ID#: 092-560-089 (he is tagged to the CC-SPCA and The Animal Clinic in Exton)
Domestic Medium Hair
Black/Brown/White Tabby with a white band on his front left leg
Neutered/male, 3 years old, 10 pounds
West Boot Road, West Chester, PA (minutes from the Whitford Train Station and Rt. 100/Pottstown Pike)
SPCA = 610-692-6113
The Animal Clinic = 610-363-1595

THIS IS STICKY! PLEASE HELP!: Last week, we received an anonymous letter (hand written on a torn piece of paper bag) from a "neighbor" that stated they have seen our "beautiful cat chasing their birds from the feeders" (that's what cats do?) and if they ever saw the cat again they would "take him to their sister's house because she would love to have the cat as her own." They signed the letter "concerned," but didn't give their name, address, or even a phone number for us to contact and apologize for any inconveniences. Since then, we have been extra careful to put Marlowe in lock down and have extensively researched installing a large cage on the side of the house for him to play in...but of course, the ground is too cold to install just yet.

I am a vet tech and Marlowe is VERY important to me. I work extra hours just to see that he gets the health care and love he deserves...not having him in my life is devastating and I'm sure any pet lover would understand. If you have any information, advice, or perhaps have seen a "neighbor" with a new pet, PLEASE be kind and assist in bringing him home?

I have called the SPCA and Animal Control; posted fliers, have several online 'lost' ads, faxed, emailed, and sent letters all over Chester County asking vets for their assistance, and even contacted an attorney. Please help spread the word! We have a cat thief..THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO IS HELPING WITH THEIR SUGGESTIONS!!!

If you have any information about Marlow's whereabouts, please contact me as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time and support!

Milk

Everytime I go to the Giant in the shopping center on 322 to get a muffin and milk, they're out of the small milks. today they were just out of most of the milks. how can a grocery store be out of milk. it's not like the weatherman tricked us into thinking we were getting a blizzard and we all had to rush out and buy milk. or at least my weatherman didn't.
